A Comparative Study of the Approach of Hafiz al-Dhahabi in his Books written on Weak Narrators: "Deewan ul Dhuafa", Al-Mughni fi al-Dhuafa", "Meezan al-E'tidal

Abstract

In this research I mentioned a general introduction about the importance of knowing the conditions of the narrators, then I mentioned the importance of knowing the weak narrators, and the efforts of the scholars of Hadith in this subject, and one of the most prominent and famous writers in this subject is Al-Hafiz Shams Al-Din Al-Dhahabi, he wrote three books on weak narrators, which I introduced mentioning their correct names, highlighting their importance, and their most famous features. Along with examples from these books. A comparison including the similarities and contrasts between these books is presented in seventeen elements, such as the date of their composition, their resources, and sources, what distinguishes one from the rest, and works of scholars on them. The research is concluded by mentioning the most prominent results of the research and recommendations.
