Abstract

To recognize the sayings of Holy Prophet (ﷺ), experts of Hadith have divided these into various kinds. From these kinds one is ''Muzoo''. Muzoo means false, untrue, forged hadith that is not saying of Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and the sayings of another person charged to the Holy Prophet PBUH. There are so many causes and signs of this forgery. The experts of hadith have informed the ummah about these causes and signs. In this wat they separated these forge sayings of the Holy Prophet. They wrote the books which consists on these fake hadiths to aware the people. With these efforts they performed a very important role in protection of Hadiths. Allah bless them the best reward.

For this purpose, innitally the books have been written in Arabic language and after that in other languages. In Urdu language it is difficult for us to recommend a single book that covers all the aspects of this above emntioed topic. So, it was requirement to write shortly and comprehensively and necessary to present the litreture review on those efforts which was done by Muhadithein.
