Abstract

It is clear that the world is changing day by day; especially the industrial revolution of western nations has made the pace of development faster than ever. On the other side, Islam is the last source of guidance toward righteousness. The teachings of Islam are not limited to a fixed period of time but will remain till the Day of Judgment. In the last decade of the 20th century, the IT revolution added enormous changes to our daily routines. The software industry also emerged due to this revolution. As Muslims, it is our responsibility to study the problems we face due to the IT revolution and find out feasible answers to them in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. This paper consists of various problems related to the Software industry and their solutions in the light of Rules fixed for Islamic Marketing. After describing Islamic Marketing and shariah rules of Marketing in the Software industry, various sharia rules are set to Islamize this industry.
