A Comparative Study of the Commonalities of Zubda al-Atqan by Maliki & Al-Tibyan by Saboni
Keywords:
Holy Qur’an, Holy Prophet (PBUH), Hazrat Ali (RA), Tabein AzaamAbstract
The first ِinterpretor of the Holy Qur’an was the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Whenever the Companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) found it difficult to understand the meaning of a Verse, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) would solve it. After the demise of the Holy Prophet, during the caliphate of Hazrat Ali (RA) the work of formulating rules and regulations was started regularly. After that Tabi’ein ‘Uzzaam (may God have mercy on him) expanded this knowledge in different areas.
In the third century AH, this knowledge became a regular form of art. Researchers began to bring this art in bookish form on a regular basis. In every coming era, this work began to grow faster and brighter than before.
Zubdat al-Atqan fi Uloom al-Quran and Al-Tebian fi Uloom al-Quran are also a link in the same chain. In both of these books, the research of this art has not only been described in a very beautiful and easy way but also modern research has been added to them which is missing in other books. There are six commonalities in them. In general, the same discussion has been presented. The only difference is in the words and the statement, but some of the researches have been used separately. This article is an effort to give a comparative analysis on these commonalities found in these books.
