Muslim Youth and Western Civilization (An Analytical Study)

Abstract

The reformation of youth is a compulsory subject of social science. Muslim scholars paid special attention to this subject and presented different methods for protecting the young mind. Western civilization and culture are big challenges for Muslim scholars because the basic pattern of this civilization is to ensure Western imperialism. Capitalism is the primary subject of Western civilization. Protection of young minds from capitalism-based civilization is the basic subject of the day. Islamic civilization is highly comprehensive because of its good values. Social justice, brotherhood, human respect, tolerance, kindness, forgiveness and humbleness are wonderful values of Islamic civilization. The best way to protect young minds is by adapting these comprehensive values. In this article, the academic discussion is presented regarding a real picture of Western civilization and the protection of youth.
